Sana Mir to lead Pakistan women in T20 World Cup

KARACHI All-rounder Sana Mir will lead a 14-member Pakistan womens squad in the ICC Twenty20 World Cup to be staged in England in June, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced on Monday.

 

Nain Abdi will be Sana Mirs deputy. Urooj Mumtaz Khan of Karachi, who led the team in the World Cup in Australia, has been replaced as captain.

 

Pakistan squad is Sana Mir (Captain), Nain Abdi (Vice Captain), Almas Akram, Naila Nazir, Arman Khan, Batool Fatima, Nazia Sadiq, Asmavia Iqbal, Bismah Maroof, Qanita Jalil, Urooj Mumtaz Khan, Javeria Wadood, Marina Iqbal and Sajida Shah.

 

Four reserve players included Kainat Imtiaz, Sania Iqbal, Rabia Batool and Sadia Yousaf.

 

The officials of the team are Ayesha Ashhar (Manager), Mansoor Rana (Coach), Yasir Malik (Trainer), Sunaina Munir (Physio).
