ISLAMABAD, Feb 19: After being blanked 5-0 by New Zealand this month, Pakistan are now due to play Japan this April in their Asia Oceania Group I Davis Cup tie.

The April 4-6 fixture is to be played indoors in Toyota, on carpet. The loser of this tie will take on either Indonesia or South Korea.

Pakistan was promoted to Group I by beating China at home last September.
