ISLAMABAD, Feb 14: Mr Ayaz Wazir has been appointed as Pakistani Ambassador to Qatar, it was officially announced here on Friday. He served as consul-general at London from August 2000 to June 2001.

Presently, he is serving as consul-general at Manchester since July 2001.—APP
