Pakistani made Texas security body member

WASHINGTON, Oct 2: A past president of the Association of Pakistani Physicians of North America, Dr Amanullah Khan, has been appointed by Governor Rick Perry of Texas as member of state’s newly-formed task force on homeland security.

Similar task forces are being set up in other US state.

Dr Amanullah Khan, an oncologist, is vice-chairman of the American Muslim Council and has served as a member of the Scientific Advisory Board of the United States Environmental Protection Agency.
