KARACHI, Feb 6: The city government will distribute Sadequain awards on Friday at the Sadequain gallery in Frere Hall.

City government officials told Dawn that the government had been giving Sadequain awards to artists for the past 11 years. “For this year, around 204 entries have been received, 30 from outside Karachi. Awards will be given to outstanding paintings and specimen of calligraphy,” they said.
