SHEIKHUPURA, Feb 4: A passer-by was killed in a crossfire between two groups in Amoki village, about eight kilometres from here, on Monday.

Rival groups comprising Ishaq, Saghir, Azam and Mahboob were trading fire near Dera Esaiyan when Mukhtar was caught in the crossfire. A bullet hit Mukhtar, killing him on the spot.

Sadar police are investigating.
