The parents of the   students (from one to class 10th) of private  schools have complained that there is  shortage of textbooks of  various subjects in the markets.

Most of the books are not available at the book shops, they said.

The students of private schools have to face a lot of problems as every school has different syllabus which includes books of foreign publishers and Punjab Textbook Board.

The students of private schools were disappointed when they found Class-9th’s Matehmatic textbook vanished from the market.

Unavailability of books proved irritating for students and their parents as they had to visit book shops frequently, parents of some  local stdunet regretted.

As a result, there was a hue and cry about the unavailability of textbooks and students as well as their parents had to face a lot of problems, they observed.

The government and all stakeholders should  have  planned well before  the start of new academic year to ensure the provision of textbooks in the market, they added.

However the students of government schools are in peace of mind as  the Punjab government  provide books to them  with full set of course free of cost.
