Imtiaz Safdar Warraich's papers from NA-98 rejected

KARACHI: Pakistan Peoples Party stalwart Imtiaz Safdar Warraich's nomination papers for NA-98 were rejected on Sunday, DawnNews reported.

Warraich's nomination papers from Gujranwala were rejected by the Election Commission of Pakistan on the basis of Articles 62 and 63 of the Constitution.

NA-98 is Warraich's home constituency from where he has been elected twice as an MNA in 2002 and 2008.
