PTI will bring peace to the country once in power: Imran

MINGORA: Pakistan Tehrik-i-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan said that his party will bring peace to the country and will prevent theft of the peoples money, DawnNews reported. He also restated his six promises made at the Lahore rally on 23 March.

Speaking at a public rally in Mingora, Imran Khan said that the PTI will solve the problems affecting the country and give protection to its people.

The PTI chief, when addressing the rally, said that he had always stated that the country should never become a slave of the United States.

Imran Khan also said that there must be a political solution to the issue of terrorism, further saying that he had been called 'Taliban Khan' whenever he made that point.

"Militancy can only be resolved through a political settlement, there is no military solution to it," he said.

The PTI chief said that the peoples dignity is dignity for him and that he will not allow any of them to be disgraced.

When addressing the issue of governance, Imran Khan said that in the past five years, whether on the federal or provincial level, the rulers have only made money for themselves.

"With the peoples help, we will now combat these crocodiles," he said.

"There will be one education syllabus in the country for both poor and rich people," Imran Khan said.

"The Pakistan Tehrik-i-Insaf is the only democratic party in the country, the rest are simply family parties," he said.

"The PTI has a solution to all the problems affecting the country," he said.

"We will politically empower the people of the tribal areas," Imran Khan said.

He restated his six promises and made the crowd vow to carry forward those promises as well.
