FATEHJANG, March 29: The nomination papers for the National Assembly seat (NA-59) and Provincial Assembly (PP 17) were filed with the returning officer Fatehjang on Friday.

For NA-59, Malik Asif Ali of the Pakistan Muslim League-N, Sardar Saleem Haider and Malik Mehboob of Pakistan People’s Party, Sardar Amjad Ali Khan of the Jamaat-i-Islami, and two independent candidates, Zain Elahi and Taj Din, filed their nominations.

The PP-17 seat would be contested by Sardar Mumtaz Hussain Majhia (PML-N), Riaz Khan (PPP) and Mohammad Iqbal Khan (Jamaat-i-Islami) along with other independent candidates.
