RAJANPUR, Jan 28: How Rojhan DSP Rana Tahir secured his release from ruthless tribal outlaws who are notorious for not letting their victims go without getting ransom?

The mystery was solved by Rana Tahir himself, who told newsmen that he was in civvies when he and four other policemen were captured by the outlaws.

After reaching Suleman Hills, the captors wanted to know his identity. “I introduced myself as Syed Shah, knowing the Balochs’ respect for the Syeds,” he said.

The outlaws stopped the vehicle and allowed him to return. He walked for 11 hours to reach Rojhan on Monday noon.
