LAHORE, Jan 27: The Punjab government has decided to provide separate transport facility for women and girl students in all big cities of the province, including Lahore.

The facility will first be provided in Lahore in the shape of a double-decker bus service under a directive from the chief minister. One deck of such buses will be exclusively reserved for women and girl students.

Meanwhile, speaking at a meeting the chief minister asked the provincial transport department to also prepare a plan to introduce, in league with the private sector, a comfortable and fast-moving coach service, especially during the opening and closing hours of the educational institutions.
