PESHAWAR, Jan 25: Two South Korea-based NGOs have donated $9,100 for the construction of two schools for Afghan children in Barkilli refugee camp.
A press release issued on Friday said that a delegation from the Association for Foreign Workers’ Human Rights, Pusan, donated an amount of $4,100 for the construction of two schools for Afghan refugee children in Barkilli, while Catholic Diocese of Pusan donated $5,000 during a visit to the area.
The UNHCR press release said that the donation was handed over to the director of Basic Employment and Skill Training (BEST) a local NGO.—Bureau
