MANSEHRA, Jan 24: Life in Mansehra town has come to a standstill after the shortage of gas supply here.
Local people, who have no substitute for gas fuel, are faced with such a problem for the first time.
Nowadays the townspeople are seen queued up outside the Nanbai shops in the morning and at lunch time waiting for their turn to buy bread.
People possessing taxis and Suzuki pick-ups fitted with CNG-kits have been badly hit by the gas shortage, as the situation has deprived them of earning bread. On the other hand owners of the petrol-consuming vehicles have started fleecing passengers.
