Children parliament

The first ever children parliament, which succeeded in drawing 250 students from all over Punjab at Convention Centre on Saturday, discussed education and gave suggestions for its improvement.

The parliament also constituted five students committees on free and compulsory education, quality education, school management, public and private partnership, and girls’ education.

The committees will suggest steps to bring about improvement in education and send their reports to respective departments.
