LAHORE: Chief of the Pakistan Muslim League-Functional (PML-F) Pir Sibghatullah Shah Rashidi— Pir Pagara expressing his fears said on Friday that the upcoming elections could turn bloody along with the use of money to influence elections, DawnNews reported.
The PML-F chief added that the situation in the country was not stable and that Pakistan was moving backwards instead of progressing ahead.
Addressing a press conference on the occasion of Millat Party's Lahore chief Chaudhry Zaheer's inclusion in the PML-F, Pir Pagara said he could not imagine how the rallies would be conducted during the upcoming elections campaign given the country's worrisome security situation.
He further said that he had suggested to Pakistan Muslim League - Nawaz (PML-N) chief Nawaz Sharif about the the unification of all the factions of the Pakistan Muslim League.
