QUETTA, Feb 26: The provincial government has sacked five officers of the education department, including two daughters of the Balochistan Public Service Commission (BPSC) chairman, recruited on fake degrees.
A former director of schools, Muhammad Yousuf Khoda, has also been arrested for his involvement in illegal recruitments in the department.
The National Accountability Bureau said here on Tuesday that education officers removed from service included four female and a male officers inducted as headmistresses and headmaster on the recommendation of the BPSC.
“Their degrees were found fake when sent to concerned institutions for verification,” the NAB official said.—Staff Correspondent
