SHEIKHUPURA, Jan 21: A police constable was injured by two robbers near the QB Link Canal on Faisalabad Road on Tuesday.

A coach was on its way to Faisalabad from Lahore. Near the QB Link Canal, two robbers travelling in the guise of passengers whipped out weapons and started looting other commuters. When constable Sadiq tried to overpower one of the dacoits, his accomplice shot at and injured him.

Later, the bandits asked the driver to stop the vehicle and fled. However, a mobile police chased the fleeing dacoits and caught them. They were identified as Usman and Asaf.
