RAWALPINDI, Feb 19: Army chief Gen Ashfaq Parvez Kayani on Tuesday visited Tilla Ranges in connection with field firing and battle inoculation exercises, says a press release.

The exercises are aimed at simulating battlefield conditions to train the soldiers in a realistic environment.

The COAS appreciated the professional skills and motivation of the troops. Earlier, on arrival, he was received by Lt-Gen Maqsood Ahmad, Commander Lahore Corps.
