HYDERABAD, Feb 11: A three-year-old girl died of measles in Liaquat University Hospital (LUH) Jamshoro branch on Sunday night, pushing up death toll to 11 in measles related complications since Jan 1.

Focal person of LUH Dr Rasheed Akhtar Memon said Tahmina, daughter of Ali Bux, had expired after post-measles complications.

Resident of Jamshoro Paramedical Colony in Jamshoro district, she was admitted to the hospital on Sunday morning.

Dr Memon said that a total of 89 patients had been reported in both LUH Hyderabad and Jamshoro branches since January.
