HYDERABAD, Jan 19: The fourth additional district and sessions judge here on Saturday sentenced a man to life imprisonment in a murder case.

The man, Khuda Bux, was charged with killing Azeem Golarchi in 1993. His father, Karam Ali, was a co-accused in the case but he died during the trial. The case was registered with the Tando Mohammad Khan police station.

Khuda Bux was acquitted by the trial court in 1993 but Ghulam Hyder, the brother of the deceased, filed an appeal in the Sindh High Court, seeking retrial of the case.—Correspondent
