KARACHI: Pakistan kept its Davis Cup winning run against Sri Lanka intact notching up a 3-2 victory in the Asia Oceania zone group two first round rubber in Colombo on Sunday.
It is pertinent to mention that Sri Lankan had never beaten Pakistan in the previous five outings of the Davis Cup.
Pakistan is due to face New Zealand in the second round being played from April 5 to 7. The Kiwis whitewashed Lebanon 5-0 in the other fixture.
The victorious team is due to arrive from Colombo on Monday.
