•Name of the new province will be ‘Bahawalpur Janoobi Punjab’.
•The new province will comprise Multan, Vehari, Lodhran and Khanewal districts of Multan division; Dera Ghazi Khan, Layyah, Rajanpur and Muzaffargarh districts of D.G. Khan division; and Bahawalpur, Bahawalnagar and Rahim Yar Khan districts of Bahawalpur division, besides Bhakkar and Mianwali districts.
•The new provincial assembly will have 123 seats (98 general and 25 reserved).
•The present 371-member Punjab Assembly will be reduced to 248 members.
•In the National Assembly, the new province will be represented by 59 members, 47 of them to be elected on general seats and 12 on reserved seats.
•The present representation of Punjab in NA will be reduced from 183 to 124.
•Senate strength will be increased from 104 to 127 seats.
