BADIN: Tribute paid to Fazil Rahu

BADIN, Jan 17: Rich tribute was paid to the late Fazil Rahu at a public meeting held at the Rahuki village on the occasion of his 16th death anniversary on Friday.

Speakers at the rally, organized by the Fazal Rahu Yadgar Committee, reiterated their resolve to continue the mission of their late leader to emancipate the people from the shackles of an obsolete system.

They urged the people to follow the teachings and political ideology of Fazil Rahu, who always fought for the rights of the downtrodden.

They said that Mr Fazil was a man of high human values who worked for the people and always remained close to them when they were in trouble.

They flayed the politicians for adopting “drawing-room politics” against the interests of the masses.

Among those who attended the meeting were Badar Channa, Qamar Rajpar, Dr Muneer Bhurgari, Suleman Dahri, Mitho Mehri, Mir Amanullah Talpur, Ali Ahmed Jokhio, and Jumoo Nuhani.

ARRESTED: The police have arrested four accused, including an absconder, Natho Mallah, wanted in six cases of robberies and theft.

According to the police, the accused Natho Mallah, Ahmed Mallah, Sikandar, and Haji Mallah, were trying to occupy nearby sugarcane fields when they the lands, when the encircled the area, and arrested them.

One repeater gun and cartridges were recovered from their possession.

The Model police have registered a case and have sent the accused to judicial lock-up.
