KARACHI, Jan 22: Six ships carrying containers and crude oil are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage of Karachi Port on Wednesday.

Lantau Arrow, Chabok, Al Muniazah II and Ocean Star were berthed and eight ships including X-Press, Euphrates, Med Nordic, El Gurabia, Chemroad Rose, Northern Dedication, Tabernacle Prince and Hyundai Confidence sailed out on Tuesday.

A cargo volume of 69,709 tons comprising 29,827 tons of import and 39,992 tons of export was handled.

The following ships are expected on Wednesday: Emerald Coral with general cargo, Lahore with crude oil and Shiba, UASC Ramadi, Naxihe and APL Brisbane with containers.

Port QasimKARACHI, Jan 22: Four ships to load cement and unload containers, steel pipe and diesel oil were berthed during the last 24 hours, said a PQA press release on Tuesday.

Five more ships with edible oil and containers arrived at the outer anchorage.

Hanjin Venezla, Asian Express, Tai Hawk V, Star Eracle, Liberty N and Al Salam II were busy in loading/offloading different commodities.

A cargo throughput of 19,668 tons comprising 19,187 tons of import and 481 tons of export was handled.
