ISLAMABAD, Jan 16: The government has exempted the Chitral airport from taxes and asked PIA to start C-130 service for the region.

Prime Minister Zafarullah Jamali issued orders to this effect at a meeting with MNA Maulana Abdul Akber Chitrali who called on the premier at his secretariat here on Wednesday, and informed him of various problems being faced by the people of Chitral.

The prime minister also directed the National Highway Authority to complete the Lowari Tunnel project at the earliest, and to provide a bus for the girls degree college, Chitral.
