ALTHOUGH I do not agree with the ideology of Dr Tahirul Qadri, who is an exponent of a retrogressive and ultra-conservative political thinking, I sincerely feel that as a patriotic Pakistani, who currently lives in Canada, he has every right to organise a long march, a sit-in and express his political opinions.

His sincerity and loyalty to the Pakistani people cannot be doubted at any stage. Long live democracy in Pakistan.
