KARACHI, Jan 15: Twenty-six additional district and sessions judges (ADJs) have been promoted to district and sessions judges (DJs) on a recommendation of the departmental promotion committee for judicial officers, according to a handout issued on Tuesday.

The district and sessions judges will be on probation for a period of one year, as prescribed under Rule 2 of the Sindh Civil Servants (Probation, Confirmation and Seniority) Rules, 1975, the handout added.—APP
