Quake hits Islamabad, Peshawar

PESHAWAR, Nov 24: An earthquake of severe intensity rattled Peshawar, Islamabad and Chitral during the wee hours of Saturday at 1:43 hours.

The magnitude of the tremor on international Richter scale was measured as 6, according to a report released by the meteorological station, Peshawar.

The epicentre of the quake was 250km north of Peshawar in the Hindukush range.—APP
