LAHORE, Oct 9: A tricky card of six-events has been charted out for the mid-week Lahore Gymkhana races to be held at the Racecourse Wednesday.
All events will be held over the sprinting distance of six furlongs and they look to be pretty tough, if the chance contestants are on try out.
The races are made up of ordinary runners comprising the lower divisions of Class VII. In all, 86 runners will be vying for supremacy, if there are no last-minute withdrawals.
The acceptors include mostly horses, who have not been tried yet. Their strength is not known.
Three contestants seems to be in the running for the main event, a Class VII Division V (B) handicap race are Blu’s High, Jee Salman and Burq Raftar but they are owned by gaming owners and so are inconsistent performers. If on job they hould decided about the winner.
The first race will be run at 12.30 pm.
