TAHIRUL Qadri’s long march is ready for Jan 10. The MQM and the PML (Q) have supported the march. A common man is surprised about what is the need of such a march when the upcoming elections are at hand.

If they want to bring about a change, they should form an electoral alliance before the polls. They should follow the principles of democracy.

Elections are the backbone of democracy. The masses are good judge for electing the persons. They should stimulate the public for bringing about a change. Without winning the assembly seats, they cannot do anything. Hollow slogans are not enough for bringing about a change.

The change will be come through the ballot. My advice to them is not to time and make an alliance to contest the upcoming election. This is in the best interest of the country.

The law and order situation is not well and any unnecessary practice will destabilise the country. No one can correct the mistakes of 60 years in 17 days.
