Ahl-i-Hadith parties to protest FBI raids

LAHORE, Jan 14: Six Ahl-i-Hadith parties have decided to launch a country-wide protest against the raids being conducted by the FBI. The first protest demonstration will be held in Lahore.

The decision was taken in the Ahl-i-Hadith parties meeting at the Jamia Ahl-i-Hadith Al-Quds on Tuesday. The meeting expressed grave concern over the increasing FBI raids and demanded immediate release of Khwajas, and full support of Iraq at government level.

The meeting also constituted liaison, legal aid and Press committees headed by Mian Abdul Haleem Janbaaz, Chaudhry Rehmat Ali Dhilon and Sahibzada Muhammad Amjad Ajmal to keep a liaison with national religious leaders and support people arrested by the FBI, respectively.
