LAHORE, Jan 6: A robber was killed while three others managed to flee in an encounter with police on Bara Dari Road in Shahdara early on Sunday.

Police received information of a robbery on Bara Dari Road after which a team of Begum Kot police checkpost reached the site.

The robbers opened fire on the police that they retaliated, leaving one of the culprits injured while the remaining managed to escape.

Police shifted the injured to Mayo Hospital where he died. — Staff Reporter
