LAHORE, Jan 3: Representatives of various business institutions attended a one-day training programme on ‘Corporate social responsibility and SA 8000 Compliance in Pakistan’.

The training programme was arranged by the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority (Smeda) in collaboration with the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI), Lahore regional office, on Thursday.

Nespak adviser Rana Daniyal briefed the participants about various aspects of corporate social responsibility, best practices and SA 8000.

The impact of CSR and SA 8000 on society and business was also highlighted during the session.— Staff Reporter
