LAHORE, Jan 2: The Concerned Citizens of Pakistan has expressed its deep concern at the growing menace of extremism, intolerance and terrorism across the country.

It has urged all mainstream political parties to unite against these menaces and demanded election in time under the supervision of an impartial interim government that can guarantee fair, free, peaceful and transparent electoral process.

In a statement issued on Wednesday, it also urged all political parties to include promoting the rule of law; ending corruption, getting out of the so-called war on terror, stopping drone attacks and addressing energy and water problems as their priorities in their election manifestoes.
