TOBA TEK SINGH, Jan 13: Shift in Kashmir policy by the Pakistan government on foreign pressure is a political suicide.
This was stated by Jamaat Al Dawaah central amir Prof Hafiz Mohammad while speaking at a training workshop of workers of his organization here on Monday.
He said every Pakistani Muslim should be prepared for Jihad.
THREE INJURED: Three people, including a headmistress, were injured in a road accident near the Dabanwala railway station on Toba-Shorkot Cantonment road on Monday.
The headmistress of the Government Community Model Girls High School, Chak 346-GB, Karmoonwali, Nargis Parveen, along with a teacher, Aneesa, was going to school by a motorcycle-rickshaw when a bus hit them. Both the teachers and the rickshaw driver sustained critical injuries and were taken to the DHQ hospital.
CONCERN: Various political leaders have expressed concern over rising incidents of irrigation water theft in Toba and Gojra.
In a press statement here on Monday, Pakistan Kisan Committee president Fateh Mohammad said the police and irrigation department officials had failed to check water theft as a result of which farmers of tail-end villages were unable to get irrigation water.
Former MNA Hamza alleged that the influential people were involved in water theft.
