Imran Khan terms 2013 as year of change

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehrik-i-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan on Monday felicitated the Pakistani nation on the eve of New Year 2013.

In his felicitation message, he termed the New Year as year of change and urged the people to vote for a change in year 2013 to get rid of “corrupt, incompetent and dishonest rulers.”

Khan said thankfully general elections are close as the country has seen worst rule for five long years.

“With the advent of the new year, I wish and pray that my people take bold decisions and vote out those who had done nothing for their cause in past five years,” said the PTI chief.

“Year 2012 proved to be very tragic for the country. We witnessed inflation, destruction and price-hike touched new highs. The government itself has accepted that Rs 5000 billion are being looted from my countrymen every year,” he said adding, “Therefore, a change is inevitable and we have to get rid of the corrupt lot ruling the country for the past three decades.”

He said the people would have to decide for good of their future generations and the days of the inept and corrupt politicians were numbered.
