PESHAWAR, Dec 24: A widow and her two children have appealed to the Peshawar High Court Chief Justice Dost Mohammad Khan to help them against her brothers-in-law who have been denying them their share in inherited property since her husband was killed in mysterious circumstances in 2006.

The widow has also appealed to the chief justice to transfer her case filed against her brothers-in-law for fraudulently selling their property and withdrawal of guardianship rights, which is pending before a civil court in Lakki Marwat to Peshawar as it would help mitigate her suffering.

“I appeal to the chief justice to save the future of my children, aged six and 12 years,” the widow of Inamullah said, while talking to Dawn here on Monday.

She said her husband Inamullah, resident of Nar Khuda Bakhsh village in Lakki Marwat, was killed on May 28, 2006, in his home district and her two brothers-in-law Razaullah and Rehmatullah took no interest in pursuing the murder case to bring the culprits to justice.

She said she had moved a court in Lakki Marwat seeking withdrawal of guardianship right from her two brothers-in-law once she discovered that they used fake power of attorney of her to sell property owned by her husband Inamullah in Serai Naurang.

“I have no one to help me get due rights of my children from their uncles except my ailing father, who finds it difficult to stand up against Razaullah and Rehmatullah who have been using every tactic to prolong the case and thus intimidate her and her two children,” she said.

She alleged Rehmatullah made an attempt to kidnap her son Hashir Inamullah, 12, from his school in Peshawar and a case was registered at Hayatabad police station against the accused on December 7, 2011.

The widow alleged her in-laws expelled her from her home in Lakki Marwat after they obtained guardianship from her and she had to shift her children to Peshawar to live with her parents.
