KARACHI, Dec 23: The Karachi University cancelled the admissions of 29 students when their mark sheets were found to be forged.

According to a press release issued on Sunday, mark sheets of 29 students admitted into the masters’ morning progamme of 2012 were found to be forged upon verification, hence the admissions of these students were cancelled with immediate effect, said the university registrar.

The students were from the following departments: business administration, commerce, international relations, Islamic learning, library and information sciences, mass communication, physics, physiology, political science, public administration, statistics and zoology.— Staff Reporter
