PESHAWAR, Dec 21: A doctor was kidnapped from Ring Road in limits of Paharipura police station on Thursday night.
A police source said Dr Yaseen of Muslim City had come to a restaurant for dinner, but he disappeared somewhere near the Ring Road while on way to his residence in Pabbi, Nowshera district.
It was learnt that he had a dental clinic in Pabbi. However, the concerned police denied having such report. “No one has reported to police so far,” he said.
Meanwhile, police recovered a kidnapped boy and arrested two alleged kidnappers during raid at a house in Palosai village in the suburbs of Peshawar on Friday.
The boy, Baitullah (12), had been missing since Nov 30, 2012. His father, Meram Shah of Sufaid Dheri village stated his son went missing after he left his residence. “After few hours of his disappearance unidentified kidnappers demanded a ransom of Rs4 million for his release,” he said.
The alleged kidnappers were identified as Afsar Ali and Mashooq. Police also recovered a Kalashnikov, a rifle and a pistol from the accused. —Bureau Report
