Kinnoo export

KARACHI, Nov 24: The export of kinnoo is likely to increase by 15 to 20 per cent during the current season as the demand for Pakistani mandarin is higher this year in far eastern market.

President, Fruit and Vegetable Processor and Exporters Association (FVPEA), Mateen Siddiqui, told APP here on Saturday that kinnoo crop was good in Pakistan and its demand was higher in Far Eastern countries.

“We are expecting to ship about 120,000 tons of kinnoo this year compared to 97,000 tons last year,” he observed.—APP
