THIS is apropos of Guldar Ali Khan’s letter ‘Police misbehaviour’ (Nov 20) in which he has described his personal trauma. He is true, perfectly true.
He has also requested the KP IG Police to teach his subordinate how to deal with the public and to recruit God-fearing policemen in districts.
I want him to first ascertain whether the IG himself is well-mannered. If his answer is in the affirmative, then why do his subordinates have a contradictory attitude?
It would really show that something is rotten in the state of police, as a lot of people have faced brutal treatment.
Sadly there is no reaction from the public. All of us have been trapped in a quagmire of individual problems and cannot come out of that.
Pakistanis don’t have any revolutionary blood in them. They are happy as they are.
