ISLAMABAD, Jan 11: The retired employees of Pakistan Television Corporation have formed a welfare association to protect and struggle for their due rights.

A six-member committee of the association has been formed unanimously with Raja Nasir as its patron and S. M. Hussain Raja as chairman.

The other members of the association are: Saeed Ahmed Khan (senior vice-chairman), Hafiz Sultan Ahmed (secretary general), Mohammad Asghar (joint secretary) and Mohammad Amin Malik (finance secretary).

The committee is likely to meet the federal minister for information and media development, Sheikh Rashid Ahmed, to appraise him of the problems being faced by the retired employees.—APP
