KARACHI, Dec 12: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah has ordered that all villages (goths) of rural areas of Karachi and Hyderabad are regularised at the earliest.
The chief minister said this while presiding over a meeting regarding the Gothabad scheme at the CM House on Wednesday.
The meeting was attended by Sindh Katchi Abadis minister Nadeem Ahmed Bhutto, Zakat minister Sajid Jokhio, senior Board of Revenue member Shahzor Shamoon, MNA Abdul Qadir Patel, Syed Najmi Alam, Lal Bux Bhutto, Raja Razaaque, member land utilization of the Board of Revenue, deputy commissioners of Malir, west, central, east and others.
The chief minister ordered that the process of verification and correction of records of rights and other formalities be completed soon for those villages that had already been issued certificates. He said that all deputy commissioners concerned would fully assist in the regularisation of villages of rural areas of Karachi and Hyderabad. It was decided that the chief minister would visit Malir on Dec 22.—APP
