KARACHI, Dec 6: The Board of Advanced Studies and Research (BASR), Karachi University, has approved the conferment of 29 PhD degrees in various disciplines on students.

Besides, 12 MPhil and one MS degree would be awarded to students in different disciplines, said a university official on Thursday.

The official added that the BASR meeting was presided over by KU Vice Chancellor Dr Mohammad Qaiser.—APP
