KARACHI, Dec 4: Five ships carrying ethanol, base oil, jet oil, mogas and containers for offloading are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage of Karachi Port on Wednesday.

Lodestar Genesis, Hyundai Freedom, CSAV Lanalhue, Cosco Tengfei, UASC Ajman and Amanda were berthed at the port while Mol Dignity sailed out on Tuesday. Total cargo handled at Karachi Port on Tuesday amounted to 130,630 tons, comprising 103,910 tons of import and 26,720 tons of exports.

The following ships are expected to arrive on Wednesday: Stream Una with base oil, Golden Gion with ethanol, UASC Al Medina with jet oil, Alpine Movement with mogas and APL Brisbane with containers.

Port Qasim

KARACHI: Two ships carrying crude oil and edible oil were allotted berths at FOTCO Terminal and Liquid Cargo Terminal on Tuesday.

Three more ships scheduled to load/offload containers and LPG also arrived at the outer anchorage of Port Qasim on Monday.

On Tuesday, Sai Eternity, Arietis and Chem Road Vega occupied berths to load offload wheat, crude oil and edible oil.

Total cargo handled at Port Qasim on Tuesday amounted 32,848 tons, comprising 31,264 tons of import and 1,584 tons of exports.
