BADIN, Oct 9: Two minor children were drowned to death in an earthen vessel in ward No 4 here on Tuesday early morning.

Unidentified criminals sneaked into the house of one Ashraf Ansari in ward No. 4, took a minor boy Waheed Ali, aged one year, drowned him to death in the vessel and threw his body out of the vessel.

Later they also took his three years old brother Asghar and after killing him in the same manner left his body floating in the vessel.

Both the boys were sleeping with their mother Shahnaz on the same cot when they were taken from there and killed.

When their mother awoke she found both of her sons missing and raised hue and cry.

The family searched for them and found the bodies of both the children one in the vessel and the other near it in the house.

The mother of the boys reportedly became unconscious.

The news spread through the town like wildfire and spread a wave of anger and grief in the area.

The bodies were taken to Badin civil hospital where doctors disclosed the death by suffocation in water.

In charge army support team strictly directed the police to find out the culprits.
