KARACHI, Nov 28: Cotton prices ended flat on Wednesday as millers were reluctant buyers above Rs5,950 and growers did not want to sell their crop at lower prices, brokers said.

The Karachi Cotton Association (KCA) kept its official spot rate unchanged at Rs5,800 per maund but in the ready market most bales of cotton were exchanged at Rs5,900.

Only 2,000 bales of cotton were exchanged in Sindh at Rs5,625 to Rs5,950 but activity increased in Punjab as 12,200 bales of cotton were exchanged at Rs5,800 to Rs6,000.

US cotton futures eased slightly in range bound trade, following the broader commodities market lower as the US dollar strengthened against the euro and initial enthusiasm over a new debt deal for debt-laden Greece waned.
