MURREE, Nov 22: Increasing complaints on Thursday compelled the city traffic police to launch a crackdown on public transport for overcharging and other traffic violations.
According to traffic police, they gave tickets to 450 public transporters vehicles and collected Rs215,000 from them.
There were a number of complains about overcharging by public transport owners on various routes including Rawalpindi-New Murree, Upper Dewal, Aliot and Barrian.
