RAWALPINDI, Nov 22: Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif on Thursday visited Benazir Bhutto Hospital and enquired after those who were injured in the terrorism attack at Dhok Syedan (DS).
The Chief Minister met all the injured and enquired about their well being. He directed the hospital administration to provide the best medical facilities, free of cost, to all the injured and no effort should be spared in their treatment.
During his visit to Benazir Bhutto Hospital, the Chief Minister was deeply shocked and aggrieved and became emotional while talking to the injured. He said that those playing with innocent lives have no link with humanity and any religion. He strongly condemned the DS incident.
The Chief Minister said that everyone had to perform their responsibility and assist the government in foiling conspiracies aimed at disrupting peace and harmony.
He said that all law enforcement agencies of the Punjab government are fully alert and working round the clock.
He said that security concerns increased during Muharram and all resources are being utilised for coping with them. Expressing sympathies with the injured of the tragic incident, the Chief Minister prayed for their early recovery. — A Reporter
